Classification of Laser Marking Machine

The laser marking machine uses a laser beam to make permanent marks on the surface of various materials. Laser marking machines are mainly divided into CO2 laser marking machines, semiconductor laser marking machines, and fiber laser marking machines. And YAG laser marking machine, the current laser marking machine is mainly used in some occasions requiring finer and higher precision. Used in electronic components, integrated circuits (IC), electrical appliances, mobile communications, hardware products, tool accessories, precision instruments, glasses and watches, jewelry, auto parts, plastic buttons, building materials, and PVC pipes.

The commonly used laser tube of CO2 laser marking machine is divided into glass tube and radio frequency tube. This is the difference between them:

1.Service life: CO2 radio frequency tube laser marking machine has a lifespan of more than 45,000 hours, generally can be used for 6 years, inflated and can be used repeatedly, without replacement; while glass tube marking machine is only about 2500 hours, generally replaced every six months The glass tube cannot be reused and needs to be replaced.

2.Cooling method: CO2 radio frequency tube laser marking machine adopts air cooling, which can ensure long-term trouble-free and stable operation; CO2 glass tube laser marking machine adopts water cooling, which may not emit light or light intermittently when the working time is long or the water temperature is high. Work has a greater impact on the quality of the product.

3.Spot size (beam): CO2 radio frequency tube laser marking machine has a fine spot of 0.07mm, which is more than 3 times finer than a glass tube, high accuracy, small thermal diffusion area, and can engrave/cut very fine works; CO2 glass tube laser marking machine is 0. 25mm thick spot, poor precision, unstable light output (uneven light intensity, sometimes no light), large thermal diffusion area, melting and blackening of the cutting edge, and poor engraving accuracy.

4.Stability: The radio frequency tube is a fully sealed metal tube, using a 30 volt low-voltage power supply, which directly avoids some of the disadvantages caused by the use of high-voltage power; the glass tube laser cutting machine uses 10,000 volts or even higher In addition to being unstable, high-voltage power supplies have a certain degree of danger. Working for a long time makes the power supply easy to age, and has great interference to the control system. If the operation is improper, it is easy to burn the main board, and it is more likely to be damaged the function by the voltage. 

5.Price: RF tubes are many times more expensive than glass tubes. For processing some products such as leather, only glass tubes can be fully qualified.
